Applying for Social Security Disability (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits can be overwhelming. The process is complex, paperwork is extensive, and strict deadlines must be met. Unfortunately, many deserving applicants are denied the first time they apply.  Only about 36% of initial claims are approved.

In most cases, you do not pay a fee unless I successfully obtain benefits for you.

No Upfront Costs

Generally, there are no upfront costs. In most cases, my fee is paid directly by the Social Security Administration (SSA) from your past-due benefits, if your claim is approved. Most clients never receive a bill from my office for fees.

You should not have to navigate stacks of confusing forms on your own. My office prepares and submits the required documents for you. Any forms that require your personal information are completed together—in person or over the phone—so you're guided through every step of the process.

I Keep Track of Critical Deadlines

Social Security has strict filing deadlines, and missing one can seriously affect your claim. Some deadlines are surprisingly short.... even as short as 10 days. I monitor these deadlines and make sure the necessary paperwork is filed on time.

I Prepare Your Case From Start to Finish

Whether you're filing an initial application or appealing a denial, I work to build the strongest case possible. That includes gathering evidence, researching the relevant rules and codes, submitting required documents, and ensuring appeals are filed within the required timeframes.

I Work With Your Medical Providers

Strong medical evidence is often the key to a successful disability claim. I help obtain the medical, employment, educational, and other records needed to support your case. When appropriate, I may also request additional information or opinions from your treating providers.

I Use Expert Resources When Needed

Some cases require additional evidence from vocational or other qualified experts. When appropriate, I have the resources to obtain expert opinions that help support your claim.

Ongoing Support

Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a needs-based disability program that has different eligibility requirements than Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).

If your disability began after your insured status for SSDI expired—or if you have limited income and resources—you may qualify for SSI instead. Because SSI has both medical and financial eligibility requirements, it's important to carefully evaluate your situation before filing a claim.
